DAY 130 · NECM
As of today, we’ve clocked over 10,000 nautical miles of boating adventures! (11,508 landlubber miles) Our odometer was carried over from our previous sailboat, Novella, and the majority of these miles are actually hers. As a crew of three, we have circled the eastern half of the United States, seen nearly the entire East Coast from the Keys of Florida up to Maine, cruised the Bahamas, and visited Canada twice. I wish we had a Dolphin Counter or an Amazement Meter to pull numbers from as well. Our time on the water is so much more than just miles traversed. The experiences keep us going, and we’re looking forward to seeing where the next 10,000 miles might take us.

DAY 129 · NECM
We are back on the move! After a long day on the water, we can confirm that the boat is not the only solar-powered vessel whose batteries are running very low... The crew desperately needs some sunshine! Luckily, tomorrow calls for some sun, and we can’t wait to bask in its warmth!
We have returned to Block Island, and it is unrecognizable compared to our brief stay here exactly three months ago. We are one of maybe two anchored boats. Last time there had to have been closer to 100. By the time we arrived, we were too cold and tired to do the Dinghy Dance, so we won’t be going to shore this time around either.
