DAY 146

NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES

Day 146 • One would man the helm, navigating the canal and dodging all the floating logs, while the other did their part to complete several rush work projects, and then we would switch duties. We repeated this all the way to Belhaven, where we are currently tied to the town dock. As we docked, we noticed a very familiar boat, our boat, but five years older. They only made 156 of these sailboats, so our chances of bumping into one are low. We chatted with the owner and got a tour inside. We also visited with another sailboat couple whom we have heard on the radio for the last couple of days. There are some strong winds coming, so we might all be here a while.
