NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES
Day 55 • Checked out the West Marine store closing sale this morning. Spent less than $40! Enjoyed an evening outdoors with some groovy tunes while chatting about boats and cats with a couple of locals. They had just researched doing The Loop on a small O’Day sailboat the day before, found our website, and then saw that we were currently in their city. What are the chances?! So glad they reached out, and we were able to meet before we leave. It was also nice to think back on our own Loop days when the enjoyment ratio was much higher... (But were we really all that comfortable? Did we have a double sink? Room to stand upright? A fridge with space for lettuce? Ice cubes!? It’s all about those pros and cons.)
