NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES
Day 54 • Our daily posts act as a journal that we personally reference quite often. (Sharing our lives with friends and family is a bonus.) We don’t tend to sugarcoat our experiences, and that probably makes for a boring read at times, which brings us to today — a day that totally sucked. It was painful, uncomfortable, and incredibly frustrating. But we persevered, and we fixed the issue. Our steering rebuild was a success.
Meriah insisted we go to shore and attempt to celebrate our victory. Over a couple of beers, she suggested scrolling through our posts to reminisce about all the good times we’ve had. It was not the boost to morale we were looking for… we figured this trip has been good once every five-ish days. But we remain optimistic that things will improve from here on up.
