DAY 87
NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES
Day 87 • First things first, Robert and Tildy fixed the manual bilge pump with the rebuild kit. Then we braved the rain in order to squeeze in some more time exploring Halifax with our guests. We checked out the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic during their free admission hours (along with everyone else escaping the rain…). Then we took the ferry over to Dartmouth, where the weather kept us from seeing much. We visited an Irish pub before going to Evan’s Seafood for a delicious and final feast together. Poutine and Digby scallops were marked off the culinary checklist. On the ferry ride, we admired the foggy Halifax skyline, and once back on land, we had a touristy photo taken.
