DAY 97

NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES

Day 97 • As we were pulling up the anchor this morning, there was a school of tiny striped fish pecking at the line. For a moment we thought we might be back in the tropics… But after loading up on gas, we found ourselves sailing through cool waters with views of rocks and evergreens. We’re back at Long Island for round two and looking forward to a relaxing weekend surrounded by wild Nova Scotia.

Also, we were boarded by police again today! (No photos this time😅) They were super friendly, but crushed a bag of chips under their boot by accident. We consider this a more favorable outcome compared to the black scuff marks the last boarding left down the hull of the boat.
