DAY 63
NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES
Day 63 • Oh, Canada! We have arrived after 27 hours. As far as the trip north goes, this passage was our best but still challenging. We were nearly becalmed much of the night, slugging forward at an average of 2 knots as we entered thick fog. The Captain still refuses to sleep during his shifts away from the helm. There were whale slaps hidden by darkness and mysterious creature sightings, one we believe to be a Mola Mola. Once we crossed into Canadian waters, lobster pots were no longer a concern, as their season is over. That alone is wonderful, but we know there are even more amazing things for us to discover!
