DAY 3
NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES
Day 3 • Today had everything — a calm sail, a notorious point with winds to match, open water, narrow canals, our first bridge, sunshine, clouds, rain, being becalmed, dolphins, motoring, a violent thunderstorm, and dozens of biting horseflies (unfortunately for them, Captain bites back and fed them to the fishes). A full travel day, and we’re exhausted. We’ll probably stay in Belhaven a few days as it’s a great stop.
