Day 28 • Today hurt in more ways than I care to list. The weather forecast was not what we signed up for. Pleasant winds on the beam were actually gusts up to 32 knots on the bow. Even reefed, these gusts nearly dipped the rails in the water. It was not cool. For fifteen hours.
However, compared to recent radio chatter (offshore with no propeller, boat on fire, vessel taking on water, floating body, etc.), we’re doing okay.
