NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES
Day 124 • In preparation for this weekend’s predicted nor’easter, we have completely cleared Origami’s deck of anything that may take flight, cause windage, or make unsettling noises. The sails have been lashed twice. Backup lines were added to the mooring along with our never-been-used snubbers. Tomorrow we’ll evaluate if we need to take down the canvas or not. To help pass the time inside, another overdue chore: oiling all of the woodwork.
