DAY 110

NEW ENGLAND & THE CANADIAN MARITIMES

Day 110 • We were well protected from the gale’s high winds, but the waves found us, so we didn’t sleep the best. Most of the day was rainy and quite dreary. This cloudy weather is not great when you rely on the sun for energy... We’ve been cooking with gas and emptied our last can halfway through lunch. Now we’re back in Shelburne, where they sell butane, and wouldn’t you know it, the sun came out during our walk to the hardware store. We celebrated by stopping by the local brewery and enjoying a pint on their patio.
