Day 1 • We have shoved off! FINALLY! We may not have gone far, but we left; we did it!
Today is the captain’s birthday and exactly the one-year mark from our offer being accepted to buy this boat. We probably have lots of feelings and things to say, but we are just too tired.
Anyway, welcome to Origami’s first voyage (and daily travel updates). We are headed north with the intention of exploring the New England states (emphasis on Maine) and the Canadian Maritimes.
